Top 11 Products of 2010!

Hey Lovelies!

As the year is nearing it's end, it is only right that I present to you all my top 11 beauty products of 2010. I know it's usually 'top 10' but, I just had to include one more staple item that has been getting lots of love from me.

Let's get started! (click image to enlarge)

1. Revlon Photoready Foundation (004 Nude)- I honestly think that this foundation from revlon is one of the best foundations I have encountered when it comes to drugstore makeup. I remember the frenzy it caused when it was released. Everybody just had to have a taste of Photoready. Photoready feels really nice and smooth on my face, it's lightweight, has SPF, and looks amazing in pictures! Some may not be too fond of the tiny shimmer reflects that are included in this liquid foundation, but I really don't mind them and I find them to be very, very subtle once on. 2. MAC Pro Longwear Foundation (NC25)-Yes, I had to include another favorite foundation that has been a staple ever since I first purchased it. The Lovely MAC Pro Longwear Foundation has made me believe in MAC foundations again! It made me realize that possibly, not all MAC foundations are out to wreak havoc on my skin. Pro Longwear has not caused me to break out, it contains SPF, gives me a nice coverage, it does not have an unpleasant funky smell, and it literally lasts ALL DAY on my skin. 3. Wet n' Wild Color Icon Bronzer (Princess)-Amazing bronzer/contour color. This bronzer from Wet n' Wild is a great drugstore option if you don't want to go out and spend tons of money on a bronzer/contour shade. Princess Bronzer is a gorgeous golden brown color that contains very fine shimmers. The shimmers are very subtle and I love how this bronzer does not appear orange on me at all. Click HERE for my review of Princess bronzer.

4. Wet n' Wild Ultimate Brow Kit (Ash Brown)-This brow kit is great! It makes filling in brows fool-proof and it gives me a natural looking brow all the time. Click HERE for my review of the Ultimate Brow Kit from Wet n' Wild.

5. Smashbox Soft Lights (Highlight)- I have been really into highlighting lately and this Soft Lights powder from Smashbox meets my needs amazingly. This golden champagne powder is unbelievably soft to the touch and it gives my face a healthy glow without being too overbearing. Click HERE for my review of the Smashbox Soft Lights Powder.

6. MAC eyeshadow (Ricepaper)- Ricepaper is one of those eye shadows that will never disappoint. This frost eyeshadow from MAC has that perfect amount of shimmered peach/gold/cream that helps awaken the eye area. I love applying it on the brow bone when used as a highlight color, and I especially like to apply it on the inner corners of my eyes to help brighten them a bit more.

7. MAC Lipstick (Lazy Day)- Lazy day has been in heavy rotation this year. This soft pink looks amazing on my skin tone-and even nicer when I had a little tan this past summer. This lipstick literally just glides on my lips while at the same time giving them a gorgeous sheen without making my lips look or feel dry. I got this lipstick when it was released this past summer from the To Beach Collection. I believe it is a limited edition shade, and I hope they bring it back soon! I am running low, and I regret not getting a back-up. Click HERE to check out Lazy Day lipstick.

8. Illamasqua Powder Blusher (Hussy)- This blush was my first taste of Illamasqua makeup products and I can't wait to try some more. This matte coral/pink blush is outrageously pigmented and soft, that a little tap of the product goes a long way. Hussy gives my cheeks the most perfect coral color that looks natural and I just can't get enough!

9. Smith's Rosebud Salve- This classic softly rose scented lip balm that has worked amazingly well for me ever since I purchased it. My lips have greatly improved, and they are not dry or flaky anymore like they used to be-especially now since the weather has been very cold and dry, Rosebud Salve has been giving me results. I use Rosebud Salve everyday and every night before I go to sleep. HG lip balm for sure! Click HERE for my review of this amazing balm.

10. Stila Smudge Pot (Black)- I love Stila Smudge Pots. They are very soft, creamy, pigmented, long lasting, and easy to apply. I can't get enough of them. I also love that they last a super long time and don't dry out on me as other cream liners can do sometimes. My advice-store cream liners upside down to help them stay creamy longer.

11. MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder-This jar has been great to me this year. I use it everyday for setting my concealer under the eyes and to help keep my oil at bay on my forehead, nose, and chin. This powder is very soft, colorless, and never looks dry and cakey on my skin.

  2. I love how you couldn't settle on a top 10 and had to add that extra one, lol.

You and I must have exactly the same skintone, as I too wear Revlon Photoready in Nude and Mac in NC25. At last finally someone who's swatches I can count on.
