imPRESS│Press-On Manicure

I love treating myself to an at home manicure. But nowadays, I don't seem to find much time for them since most of my attention goes to my beautiful boy Lucas, who will be 9 months old next week. He is just growing up right before my eyes. Where has the time gone?

I am no stranger to press-on nails, and imPress make some of my favorites. They are easy to apply, and I can achieve a perfect manicure in just minutes-without the drying time and the mess. imPress nails have a gel-like shine, are safe on natural nails, and contain an UltraHold Adhesive Technology that really secures and keeps the nails on. They are also waterproof.

With over 40 colors and designs to choose from, variety isn't scarce and there is bound to be a style to love. Shown here are Bells & Whistles (top), and So, So Stellar (bottom). Each set comes with nails in a range of sizes, a mini file, and a prep pad.

The instructions are pretty easy to follow: First, select the correct nail size for each finger (the side with the tab is the one that lines up with the cuticle); set them aside. Next, cleanse natural nails with the enclosed prep pad. Now comes the fun part-applying the nails. Take the nails and peel off the backing to reveal the adhesive. Align the nail with the cuticle, and press down firmly in the middle, and on each side of the nail. If you need to, use the file to shape nails to your liking. Removal is just as easy. All you have to do is gently peel off the nails from the sides. That's it!

I rocked Bells & Whistles all of last week, and I am happy to report that they were truly a joy to sport. They felt comfortable on, the short length was very flattering, and the vibrant aqua color and accent design beautifully stood out. These nails can last on up to one week, and when it was time to remove them on day 7, they came off without any trouble, and my natural nails were not affected.

I can't wait to try the So, So Stellar set, which includes the heart charms. How glam!
