Ipsy│June 2015

Ipsy hardly ever disappoints. And June's glam bag is no exception. Not only is this month's bag super cute with the neon zipper color pop against the black, but my bag contained a fun assortment of beauty and skincare products that I am really looking forward to trying out. I have a feeling I am going to discover a couple of new favorites, which is always nice.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer: This face primer has been a cult favorite for years, and I can't wait to see what all the hype is about. Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer helps blur out skin imperfections by reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores, creating the perfect base for foundation application. It's also oil free, and infused with vitamins A and E.

It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil: I have always snubbed eyebrow pencils because I was always afraid that they would look too obvious on, and not natural. Well, ever since discovering Anastasia's Brow Wiz and the wonders it can do for my eyebrows, my fear of eyebrow pencils have completely diminished. It Cosmetics is a brand that I have always wanted to familiarize myself with since their products are highly raved about. And I think this eyebrow pencil is just the perfect start. Brow Power is comprised of a universal transforming shade that will suit any hair color, depending on how soft or hard you press the pencil. Applying softer strokes will match lighter hair colors like blonde and silver. And a harder press will match darker hair colors like medium brown to black. Along with the oval shaped tip-that's great for thin or thick brows, the other end of the pencil contains a handy spooley brush, to polish the brows for a more natural look. This eyebrow pencil is paraben free, and promises to be long-wearing and smudge resistant.

Formula X Power Source Nail Color: This bright, hot coral pink nail color is gorgeous. So perfect for the summer months. Power Source is going to be my next pedi color, for sure. Love it!

tre'StiQue Mini Shadow Crayon: I think this paraben free eyeshadow will be great to sport on days when I am going for a minimal makeup look, since it's such an easy product to work with. Just swipe the shadow on the lids, blend it out, and done. This shadow would also make a nice base for my powdered shadows, to make the colors more vibrant and intense. I received the shade Marimoto Pink Pearl, a pretty pinky-nude with a soft pearl finish. I have oily eyelids, so the fact that this eyeshadow is crease resistant and long lasting-12 hours, is a huge plus for me.

BioRepublic Sheet Mask Trio: Face masks are one of my favorite ways to pamper myself. Not to mention, they make a fabulous addition to a skincare routine. The masks I received are Aloe Rescue (revitalizing), Green Tea Detox (purifying), and Cucumber Breeze (soothing). These nutrient and antioxidant infused face masks are good for all skin types, and they are paraben free.

    1. They are! Especially great for the summertime, since I don't want to spend loads of time on my makeup.
