Ipsy│April 2014

My April Ipsy bag recently came in and to no surprise, it was another great one! My bag contained a great assortment of products that totally fit this month's "Beauty Rocks" theme. With these trusty beauty items by my side, I can easily take my look to the next level.

I am so loving this month's bag! Not only does it contain a super cool record image on the front, but it's also pretty roomy.

Ipsy April Contents

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Velvet: I am a huge fan of eye pencils, so it was nice to see this one included in my bag-and an Urban Decay one, at that! This latest addition to the 24/7 glide on eye pencil lineup takes the original formula up a notch with it's ultra plush texture that makes blending and creating precise lines a breeze. This eye pencil is very creamy, and it packs a nice pigment punch. (Travel Size Value: $15)

Starlooks Luscious Longwear Lip Pencil in Naked: This lip pencil is perfection-I literally love everything about it! "Naked" is a gorgeous coral-pink matte that's right up my alley. This glides on my lips beautifully without any tugging, and it doesn't feel drying on which is a plus. There is no doubt that this lip pencil is going to be in heavy rotation this spring and summer, when I pair it up with my coral lip colors. (Full Size: $14)

Coastal Scents Medium Shadow Brush: I have been looking for a wide eye brush like this to use for highlighting the brow bone, and this one from Coastal Scents couldn't have arrived at a better time. The hairs are really soft and the brush feels really sturdy. (Full Size: $2.49)

Elizabeth Mott Pop! Goes The Shadow in Champagne: This eyeshadow from Elizabeth Mott feels really smooth and creamy. I like eyeshadow colors like this one because they have a beautiful radiant and illuminating quality to them. Needless to say, I can't wait to try this! (Full Size: $12.99)

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion: I have read lots of awesome things on Dr. Brandt's skincare items, and this exfoliator sounds promising. It not only helps reduce the appearance of discoloration, acne marks, and fine lines, it also helps your skincare products better absorb into the skin. (Value: $9.75)

Overall
My April Ipsy bag was pretty impressive. The quality of the items is amazing, and the value of the products can't be beat. For just $10, I received a little over $54 worth of products. Three of the items were full size (Starlooks Luscious Longwear Lip Pencil, Coastal Scents Medium Shadow Brush, and the Elizabeth Mott Pop! Goes The Shadow), and two were deluxe sizes (Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Velvet, and Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion). Gotta love that! Can't wait until my May bag!
