Ipsy│February 2014

Ipsy is quickly becoming one of my favorite beauty subscriptions. I am only on my second month but so far, I have been nothing but pleased with the products I have received in my bags. And I have a feeling it's going to be that way for a long time. My February bag arrived a couple of days ago and sure enough, it was nothing short of amazing.

Take a look for yourself!

Ipsy February 2014 Contents

Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter: I have always wanted to try Pacifica's body butters, so I am glad that one was included in my bag. This vegan and paraben-free body butter is a treat for my skin. It's super rich, moisturizing, and the fragrance is just scrumptious. (Full Size: $7-15)

Zoya Nail Polish: Zoya's nail colors are some of my favorites. I am a huge fan of their 5 free formula, and their color / finish selection is out of this world. My bag contained "Odette" which is a gorgeous purple orchid creme. I can totally see this color becoming a favorite come spring. (Full Size: $9)

Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base In One: Tinted cream shadows make for great multi-taskers. You can use them alone for a wash of color on the lids, or as bases for powder shadow. I received the shade "Spiced Rum", a lovely shimmered bronze that is right up my alley. I applied a bit of this cream shadow on my lids and I liked how easy it was to blend. It looks really pretty worn on it's own as it does layered under a powder shadow of a similar hue. I thought it was great how well this cream shadow held up on my oily lids. I didn't notice the cream shadow breaking down or creasing, which is a huge plus. (Full Size: $18)

Pop Beauty Plump Pout Mini: This gloss contains avocado and jojoba oils, and is packed with lip plumping peptides for plush and soft lips. I can never resist a bright pink lip color so I was happy to see "Fuchsia Freesia" in my bag. I thought this gloss was going to be on the sheer side, but I was surprised to see that it packs a huge color punch. The consistency of the gloss is smooth, and it feels light and moisturizing on the lips. I am not too fond of the scent on this, though. It's a little odd. But luckily I don't notice it much after the gloss is on my lips. (Full Size: $16)

J. Cat Beauty Eyelashes + Eyelash Glue: I have become quite fond of false eyelashes these past couple of months. I can't get enough of them. False lashes make such an impact on an eye look, I think. These lashes from J. Cat look really fun. I can't wait to try them! (Full Size: $3.99)

Overall:
If you couldn't already tell, I am ecstatic over this month's Ipsy bag! I received about $45 worth of product in which three of them were full size-Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base In One, Zoya Nail Polish, and the J. Cat Eyelashes + Eyelash Glue. The deluxe miniature sizes were all pretty generous as well. I am excited to see what Ipsy has in store for March!

  1. Super awesome products. I love every single one and would use them all! I very much prefer when boxes send deluxe or sample sizes than satchels of products! The lashes and that POP lip gloss look sooo good!
