Birchbox│December 2013

Hey, lovelies! I hope you are all doing well and having an awesome day. Today I am going to be sharing with you all what I received in my Holiday December Birchbox. This was a nice box to go through because I got a great array of items that I am pretty excited about. I even got a yummy snack to boot, and we know that's always fun☺

Birchbox-December 2013

Number 4™ Non Aerosol Hairspray: I am excited to try this environmentally friendly hairspray out. I love that it's non aerosol and that it doesn't contain harmful chemicals. This hairspray is infused with natural botanicals that help nourish the hair, and it provides a strong and flexible hold without that crunchy feeling. (Full Size: $30)

BeeKind™ Body Lotion: This paraben free body lotion contains honey and organic chamomile which conditions, softens, and hydrates the skin. The lemon verbena fragrance is just scrumptious. It's so uplifting and light. The lotion doesn't feel heavy on my skin, it absorbs quickly, and it doesn't leave behind a greasy residue either. My skin loves this body lotion and I may just get the full size once I am done using up this tube. (Full Size: $15)

Secret Agent Beauty Nourishing & Plumping Lip Gloss in Foreign Intelligence Flirt: This gloss is infused with lots of beneficial ingredients that lips are sure to love. There is aloe vera to help nourish and moisturize, vitamin E to seal in moisture and keep toxins out, sacha inchi provides a lasting lip plumping effect, peppermint helps stimulate lip cells, and lychee provides lasting skin hydration. I like the sheer neutral color of the gloss, and the shimmers in it are very pretty. I immediately got a tingling sensation on my lips after application, but the feeling does go away after a bit. This gloss doesn't feel heavy on my lips and it's not sticky either. My lips are naturally pretty full so I am not sure if there was any plumping action going on. But my lips did appear softer and they didn't feel dry throughout / after wear. My only issue with this gloss is the scent. It has a heavy menthol fragrance that I just can't get used to. (Full Size: $18)

Eslor Skincare System: I received packets of the soothing refiner and cleanser, replenishing scrub, comforting mask, and soothing cream. I am looking forward to trying these as my skin is dire need of assistance (it can use all the hydration and smoothness it can get). This winter weather is wrecking havoc on my skin! (Full Sizes: $28-65)

Emily's® Chocolates Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies: I love fortune cookies, but they are even better when they are covered in milk chocolate. This sweet treat was delicious! (Full Size: $5.99)

  2. Hey Debra,

So far I have tried the scrub and the mask, and I really did enjoy them. The mask was my favorite though-it made my complexion so much brighter and softer. I may have to get the full size!
