Birchbox: July 2013

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today, I am going to be sharing with you all what I received in my July Birchbox. The theme for this month is "Power Play". The boxes were curated with products that we can incorporate into our routine that will help us take control, and make the most of any situation, whether you are on or off the clock. Also, a few of this month's samples were picked, and inspired by the USA TV series-SUITS.

This month's Birchbox was a total win for me. I am really pleased with each and every item I received. And I just know that I am going to be getting a lot of usage out of them.

Take a look!

Color Club London Calling Nail Lacquer: I was surprised to see another Color Club nail color from the Birchbox + Color Club Wanderlust collection (exclusive). In last month's box I received the shade "Reign In Spain", a gorgeous vivid creamy coral. This creamy light mint hue is just as gorgeous as Reign In Spain, and I can't wait to sport it on my nails. (Full Size: $8)

ModelCo Party Proof Lipstick in Peony: Yay-a lipstick! It's no secret that I am a lipstick lover at heart, so of course my eyes lit up when I saw the ModelCo lipstick in my box. This lipstick is toted as long lasting, and nondrying thanks to the vitamin infused formula. The shade I received-Peony, couldn't have been a better selection for me. This hot pink is right up my alley. I actually swatched this color on my lips and it really did feel smooth and moisturizing on. Love it! ($Full Size: $19)

Caudalie Divine Legs: Lately, I have been reading amazing things about Caudalie's Divine Legs. I am glad that I received this sample packet to try, so this way I can see for myself what the rave is all about. This tinted shimmered lotion contains a blend of exotic oils that help firm, soften, and moisturize legs. It also imparts a subtle glow, which I am sure many will fancy during these warmer months, when legs are often out and about. (Full Size: $38)

Dr. Jart + Ceramidin™ Cream (SUITS Pick): This cream is heavily infused with ceramides, which are lipid molecules that are lacking in super dry skin. It contains folic acid which aids in protecting the skin from pollution, UV exposure, and irritation. But the good stuff doesn't stop here. This product not only helps combat redness and irritation, it also helps the skin retain and keep moisture intact for hours-up to 26! I am looking forward to giving this cream a try since my combination skin more often than not is on the drier side. I love that this cream is dermatologist tested, and a good option for my sensitive skin. (Full Size: $48)

Birchbox Bobby Pins: The beauty extra in the box for the month were these adorable bobby pins. I love the pattern on them, and I am sure that these will add a fun flair to my summertime hairstyles. (Set Of Six: $5)
