Inglot Eyeshadows: #07 + #09

When I think of quality eyeshadows, Inglot is one of the brands that usually comes to mind. The pigmentation of the shadows are out of this world, and I just love the different color varieties and finishes that are available. When it comes to Inglot eyeshadows, there is sure to be a few that will suit everyone's fancy. Since I was so impressed with the Inglot eyeshadows that I first tried last year, it was time for another visit to my nearby Inglot store, to pick up a couple more.

L-R: #07, #09

L-R: #07, #09

#07: Light gold with shimmers. When I apply this one all over my lid area, it instantly brightens up my eyes. The light gold looks complimenting against my brown eyes, and the shimmers work well to create an effortless, luminous effect. Definitely my favorite one of the two.

#09: Light golden bronze with shimmers. I like to use this color on my crease and outer eye area, for some light definition. This color compliments #07 really well. They pair perfectly together.

Both eyeshadows contain smooth and silky textures that are just a pleasure to work with. Because these contain shimmers of the bigger kind-which by the way aren't overbearing on the lids, I do experience some fall-out. It's not a major deal-breaker for me though but I do suggest patting on the color, instead of sweeping it on the lids, to minimize the fall out.

I really like the fact that the colors are very buildable. One layer yields a gorgeous light wash, while additional layers intensify the color a bit more. No matter the look you are going for, the end result will always look natural and never overdone. You just can't go wrong with shades like these. Atop a primer, it's not until the 7-8 hour mark that I start to notice very minimal creasing. But even then, the color has not faded and it still looks pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Overall: I am very happy with my latest Inglot eyeshadow purchases. Although, next time I am going to pick up a few of the more colorful eyeshadow shades, because apparently all my Inglot eyeshadows seem to be on the neutral side. What can I say? I sure love my neutrals, LOL! If you happen to be a neutral eyeshadow lover like I am, don't hesitate to give these shadows a try. They are a great value, the amount you receive is pretty generous, and the pigmentation leaves nothing to be desired. These will not disappoint.

What do you all think of Inglot eyeshadows? Which shades are your favorites?

  2. Love all the shadows that they have, probably even those that do not work with my skin tone! Those are the red ones or red under tone ones and couple of very bright yellow, green or purples. The foundation is amazing, blushes as well. I would like to try out Duraline, with that added to the eyeshadow, you can make the most beautiful eye liner.
