Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter: Lollipop

I was at Rite Aid a few weeks ago, when I happened to browse through the Revlon display. While there, I decided to pick up Revlon's Colorburst Lip Butter in Lollipop ($5.99). No surprise really, being that I can't resist bright pink lip colors. I am quite familiar with the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters. I reviewed one a few months ago (check it out here) and, I was quite pleased with it. I don't know why it has taken me such a long time to try another because, this one certainly didn't disappoint-especially in the texture and pigment departments.

Check it out!

Lollipop is a gorgeous vivid pink/purple magenta, that contains fine silver shimmers. This lip butter packs a while lot of punch in the pigment department that is impossible to miss. I find this color-although bright, to be quite wearable. I feel comfortable sporting this lip butter out in the daytime, as well as out at night. Not surprisingly, the texture of this lip butter is amazingly creamy and smooth. If my lips have any flakes or dry spots, this product does not enhance those areas. Better yet, this lip butter helps give my dry lips a little boost of hydration that prolongs all day, thanks to hydrating ingredients like Shea and coconut butters. Lollipop glides on my lips effortlessly, resulting in a gorgeous pop of color that's accompanied by subdued shimmers, as well as a lovely touch of healthy-looking shine.

Lasting power is not too bad with this one. I notice subtle fading of the color start to happen, between hours 2 and 3. After that, I usually reapply again. I don't mind though because, this lip butter feels really good on my lips. Not heavy or obvious, at all.

I am a fan of the sleek looking, tube packaging. The quilted texture on the fog-like cap is a refreshing touch, as is the clear window on top, that showcases what the color of the lip bitter inside looks like. Another worthy mention about the packaging is that the lip bitter twists all the way down in the tube, eliminating the risk of any possible nicks to the product, which can be very annoying to deal with.

Overall, I am really happy with my acquisition of Lollipop. I enjoyed the bright color, the smooth consistency, and the high shine finish. If you love pops of color that give off an impeccable shine, this lip butter is sure to please. I have to pick up more colors soon!

What do you all think of Revlon's Colorburst Lip Butter in Lollipop? Which are your favorite Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter shades?
