Product Review: Yes To Blueberries Age Refresh Smoothing Daily Cleanser

I have always been intrigued with the Yes to line. The Yes to line incorporates vitamin and antioxidant-rich organic fruits and vegetables, mixed with dead sea minerals, to create skin and hair care that is used to naturally hydrate. The Yes to line consists of four collections. Yes to carrots, blueberries, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Each collection attends to different skin and hair concerns. There is something in the Yes to line for everybody to meet their skin and hair needs. I especially love that their products are cruelty free as well as paraben-free.

I have never tried any of the products from the Yes to line, so when I was shopping at Target last month and I was browsing the Yes to display at the skin care isle, I decided that then and there I had to finally try one of these products. I took a look at the Yes to blueberries display and was immediately drawn to the Yes to blueberries Age Refresh Smoothing Daily Cleanser ($9.99). I will say that although I am just 22 years old-turning 23 in March, I always think it is best to start preventing signs of aging early on. Hey, it's just my personal preference. LOL!

The Yes to blueberries age refresh line targets aging concerns such as helping with fine lines and wrinkles, skin firmness, and environmental damages. The smoothing daily cleanser is 95% natural, milk based, and contains apple (antioxidant rich) and lemon peel (natural cleanser/brightener) that work together to help brighten and naturally cleanse the skin. Apart from the main ingredients, apple and lemon peel, this cleanser is also formulated with other skin-friendly ingredients such as coconut oil which is used to help moisturize the skin, and of course blueberries, which have loads of antioxidants and Vitamin C that help fight off free-radical damage. Most importantly, apart from this cleanser being paraben free, it's also free of petroleum and harsh detergents such as SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate).

Thoughts/Experience
I have been using this cleanser for about a little over a month and I have to say I really like it, and I have definitely seen an improvement on my skin. This cleanser is a cream cleanser, meaning that it does not really foam up and create a lather on the skin. When I first used this cleanser, I was a little put off with the fact that it left a sort of waxy, slick feel on my face after I would rinse it off, which dissipates after a few minutes. I am used to cleansers leaving my face squeaky clean-or better yet, my skin being stripped of it's natural oils. But after more usage, I have gotten used to this factor and now I really don't mind the slick feel at all. I am happy to say that my face does indeed feel clean, soft, moisturized, and it really does look a bit more brighter. I have some acne scars on my face that are sort of reddish-brown in color, and ever since I have started using this cleanser, I have been noticing that the scars are not as prominent as they used to be, and my skin tone looks much more even.

The scent of this cleanser is lovely. I smell a lot of the lemon in it and I do smell a hint of it after I dry my face. I love how this Yes to blueberries smoothing daily cleanser has not caused any irritation or broken me out. It is very gentle on my skin and my skin is very sensitive and easily reacts to new products.

Conclusion
Overall, I really, really like this cleanser a lot! And I would definitely repurchase once I run out-which won't be for awhile because a little goes a long way and I still have a bunch of cleanser left. I am interested in trying more products from the Yes to line-probably going to pick up the Yes to cucumbers color care hair conditioner ($9.99) next. I have read great things about it, and I could always use a little bit more moisture for my dry hair.

I recommend the Yes to blueberries Age Refresh Smoothing Daily Cleanser to all skin types, as I think it is gentle enough. I am sorry that I can't really speak on the influence this cleanser has on wrinkles, and fine lines, because I don't really have any (for now!). If you are looking for a more moisturized, brighter, and more even toned skin, this cleanser may be right up your alley. But if you are more into cleansers that foam up and give your skin that super, squeaky clean feeling, this cleanser may not be for you.

Have any of you tried this cleanser or any other products from the Yes to line? I would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations if you have any.
