September Favorites!

Hey Dolls!

Whats happening tonight? I hope you are all doing great and had a great day! I am just home relaxing and waiting for the new episode of Jersey Shore to come on :) Can you believe we are practically done with the month of September? October is here already! Fall is flying by. before you know it, winter will be here. Finally the weekend is almost here. But I will not be enjoying it much because I have to study for two exams I have next week. Wish me luck! Before I get my study on, I wanted to share with you all my top 5 September 2010 beauty favorites. I included 2 items that I rediscovered again...I wonder why we sometimes forget about those items that WOW us when we first get them, then later on we stash them away, all the way in the back of our makeup drawer and don't see them again until a few months later LOL!

1. Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Vanity-I love this palette! It is so versatile, it's insane. Not only do I get greatly pigmented shadows for a bargain price of $4.99, but I also can use the darkest matte brown shadow to fill in my brows. Fabulous! This palette is a must for neutral eye lovers-and it's great for constructing everyday, simple eye looks too.

2. Make up For Ever HD High Definition Foundation in shade 120-I purchased this foundation when it was released and I can't believe I forgot about it for so long! I primarily love to use this foundation for weekends because I find that wearing it everyday can take a toll on my skin. For school, I prefer to go light on the makeup and instead of liquid foundation, wear my Bare Minerals. But not to fret, this foundation does not feel heavy on my skin at all. The coverage is amazing, and the lasting power is pretty good. I prefer applying this foundation with clean fingers. I think the coverage is better that way, and it looks more natural on my skin. My only gripe with this foundation by Make Up For Ever would be that it does not control my oily t-zone very well. But it's not very bothersome to me-nothing a little powder can't fix. I may do a full review of this foundation so keep a look out for that.

3. MAC Lipstick in Hue-Hue is a gorgeous nude color that is perfect for everyday. It falls between a soft pink, with some hints of peach/beige mixed in there. This lipstick is a glaze and it feels really nice on my lips-never drying. Hue is definitely one of my favorite nudes.

4. MAC Powder Blush in Get-Away Bronze-Ever since this blush came out with the MAC To The Beach collection, I have been using this everyday. I even think this blush will be the first one I ever hit pan on LOL! I use it that much. This blush is perfect for those days when I just don't feel like getting all dolled up, and want to go for the more natural and effortless look. This helps me achieve just that.

5. MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer in shade NW25-Here is yet another product that I recently rediscovered. I was using the MAC Studio Finish Concealer for concealing my dark, under eye circles. And even though I liked the coverage, I found that it was starting to be a bit drying to my under eye area. It was starting to accentuate my fine lines under the eyes and it did not have the smooth, and creamy consistency it had when I first purchased it. Who knows? Maybe it was time for a new one? I decided to bring back out the Select Cover-Up and what do you know? Great coverage, and smooth consistency. I like my under eye concealer from MAC to be in the NW range because those contain somewhat of a warm undertone to them which help with the concealing process.

I hope you all enjoyed this edition of monthly favorites, and Thank You all so much for stopping by! Have a great and exciting weekend!
