Look Of The Day: Subtle Blue Smokey Eyes with Nude Lip!

Hey Dolls!

TGIF! Is it just me or are the days going faster? We are already in March...before you know it spring is just around the corner :)

This look of the day consists of another smokey eye. I think it is even appropriate for daytime, as it does not appear to dramatic-at least to me. I had just gotten MAC's eyeshadow in Deep Truth and I wanted to see how it would look on for a smokey eye. I Love It! My oh my, I love how Deep Truth brings out my brown eyes-like literally makes then brighter and pop out. I also used MAC's eyeshadow in Ricepaper as a highlight-Love! How did I live without this?
I think I am getting the hang of false lashes. It is not hard to apply like I thought it was. I am strips of false lashes and I had no problem applying them. I just need to work on my timing...because I took my sweet time applying them LOL! But overall, I think they look natural.

Here are some pictures of the look, and products used listed below them. Thank You all for stopping by, and I hope you all enjoy! (Click image to enlarge). Have an awesome weekend :)

  4. Smokey eye huh? Didnt know about the term. Now if I'm ever cornered by an armed makeup artist, held at gunpoint and to save my life, im asked what a smokey eye is, I can say:
    "Its...FABULOUS!"
    & then I get shot.
    :D

  11. Hey Marce! Thanks so much :) I am sure Deep Truth can work for everybody...try using a white base underneath the eye shadow to help it pop more. What eyeshadow primer are you using?
