Product Rave: Bare Escentuals

Hey Dolls!

I don't know if I have ever told you all how much I love products by Bare Escentuals. I know many are not fans of their famous Bare Minerals foundation, but it is my HG mineral makeup. I have not found any other mineral foundation that gives me that healthy glow, and coverage like Bare Minerals has given me. I not only love their foundation but other products from the line as well.

Here is a list of my favorite (and probably overlooked) Bare Escentuals beauty items:

I don't own this particular edition of Face Fashion kits, but I did purchase one last year that consisted of a pink buxom lip gloss, a matte pink blush, 2 eye shadows (matallic green and matte baby blue), and a powder liner in dark navy. Let me say that the face fashion kits are very versatile and they are so adorable! Everything is made to coordinate with each other which makes it super easy to use. Who wouldn't love to have a kit with everything they need to put on a pretty face? And did I mention that you can use the shadows wet? Cool!

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Glimmer ($13.00)

I do own a few loose eye shadows from Bare Escentuals and I love them all. Hmm, I think it is time to bring them back into my life and start re-discovering them again. I love these shadows because they can be applied wet or dry, and they make great, quick all-over lid colors. Whenever I want that pop on my lids I apply Azzure (shimmery peacock blue). And when I am in a rush to get ready for school in the morning, I apply a quick swipe of Queen Phyllis (shimmery cream) and I am good to go.

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips ($18.00)

These Buxom lip glosses are super cute! From the packaging, to the hot mamas who grace the box covers beautifully. These glosses are free of parabens and sulfates and they act as a lip plumper that makes your lips appear more fuller. Buxom lips contain vitamins A and E and help keep your lips smooth, soft and glossy. I have this lip gloss in Amber which is a beautiful shimmery nude peach color. And in case you are wondering if this gloss burns your lips (as most lip plumpers tend to do) the answer is NO! All you feel when you apply this gloss is a cool sensation throughout your lips.

Bare Escnetuals Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush ($20.00)

Hands down, this is the best concealer brush I have ever encountered. Not only do I use this concealer brush to conceal my troubled spots using my bare minerals foundation, but I love to use this with my cream concealers when I am concealing my dark under eye circles. The brush is very sturdy (has not shed a hair on me, and I have owned this brush for 3 years and counting!). Amazing brush, I tell ya! My HG concealer brush, and I am never looking back.

I love these all-over face colors. They are great for giving your skin that extra pop of luminance. If you want a glow from within look, these are your best friends! I love Pure Radiance (shimmery champagne). I apply to the bridge of my nose, my cheeks, cheek bones, temples, and my cupid's bow.

  1. I have, actually! I purchased a starter kit in December and I'm still using it each and every day. I love how it is so quick and simple to use, but it also gives me the results that I want to see. I haven't tried any of their other products besides foundations and such, but I'm really interested in their lip products. I've been really into lippies lately, haha. Great post! :)
