Product Review: E.L.F. Liquid Eyeliner

Hey Dolls!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I wanted to talk to you all about E.L.F. 's liquid eyeliners that I got in a set of 3 from Target ($3.00). I got this liquid eyeliner set about 2 months ago (I know long overdue) but the eyeliners are sold individually on the E.L.F. website for $1.00 each in case you are interested in trying them out for yourselves. Click here to be directed to the E.L.F. website page where the liquid liners are located.

I am not too much of a fan of liquid eyeliners, as I prefer cream eyeliners because for me it is like a fool-proof way of applying eyeliner if you are not a pro at it. The liquid eyeliner set contained 3 fine tipped liquid eyeliners:

1. Startdust-clear with teal/pink glitters (the teal is more prominent though)
2. Black-basic deep black
3. Pearl-White with sheen

I have to say I was a bit disappointed with these eyeliners.

Cons:
1. Has an offensive smell (on the E.L.F. website it says they are all unscented-but I smell something)
2. The formula is runny
3. hard to apply because it leaves streaks
4. Pigmentation is not superb
5. The fine tip eyeliner feels uncomfortable on the lids while I apply
6. Takes a long time to dry

Pros:
1. Affordable
2. Cruelty Free
3. Stardust can be used to layer over a black eyeliner to give it a pop of teal shimmer

Left to Right: Stardust, Black, Pearl

Overall. I would not re-purchase these liquid eyeliners from E.L.F. I am usually pretty happy with E.L.F. products, but these liquid eyeliners did not do it for me. I only liked stardust to layer over other eyeliners for a pop of glitter.

Have any of you tried these eyeliners from E.L.F. ? Loved them? Hate them? Let me know in the comments section :)

Disclaimer: I purchased these products with my own money. I am not affiliated with E.L.F. in any way.

  4. I have Black and I like it okay. It's not amazing, and I would not buy other colors, but I still use it sometimes to line my upper lash lines. But I agree, Cream liners are much better!

    1. I had no luck with these at all. When it came to application-forget about it! Streaky mess!
