Ipsy│October 2017

PURCHASED       REFERRAL LINK

When I first took a peek at what I was going to be getting in my October Ipsy glam bag, I really wasn't exactly thrilled with the products. But my disappointment quickly vanished as soon as I actually tried a couple of the items for myself. Turns out, this month's glam bag wasn't so bad after all.

Context Skin Vitamin C All Day Eye Cream
This eye cream not only hydrates, it also brightens and refreshes. It contains vitamins c and e, grape seed extract, and other preventative, nourishing botanicals and antioxidants to protect skin.

Hey Honey Trick And Treat Active Propolis Cream Concealer
Thanks to Ipsy, I have become quite familiar with Hey Honey's skincare products. I have enjoyed what I have had tried, and I am certain that I will like this concealer as well. It's infused with oils to nourish, vitamin e, and amino acids. It sets to help hydrate, restore skin texture and protect against damage, all while being lightweight and providing a buildable coverage. I can't wait to try this on my dark under eye circles.

Blaq Mask
It's no secret that I am very fond of face masks, and this one seems right up my alley. It contains activated charcoal which helps get rid of toxins and impurities in the skin.

Luna Cosmetics Lip Crayon in Elara
This lip pencil is lovely. It's creamy, moisturizing, has nice color payoff, and it feels comfortable on. I really like the light rosy hue, which imparts a soft wash of color on my lips that I can easily build up.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder
The Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder has been on my to-try list for quite some time, so I was happy to see this generous sample in my bag. The antioxidant-rich finishing powder is comprised of anti aging peptides, silk and collagen. It promises to give skin a soft airbrushed look, while being lightweight and airy on the skin. I was truly impressed by this powder. It does an effortless job at diminishing and blurring the look of my pores, and it doesn't feel heavy or look cakey either, which is a huge plus. The universal translucent color worked out pretty well for me-it didn't give off a white cast, or alter the color of my foundation. I may just invest in the full size of this in the future.
