This month's Ipsy bag is all about feel good vibes, and contained products that embody peace, love and magic. Very inspiring! The items I received in my August glam bag were just okay to me, and initially nothing to write home about. But I have to admit, I surprisingly enjoyed quite a few of the products.

Aurora Pro Cover Up Concealer
I love concealers, so I had really high hopes for this one. It has a light and creamy texture that goes on and blends effortlessly on the skin. I received the shade Balmy Beige, which is a pretty good match for me. Unfortunately, this concealer just doesn't offer me much coverage. My under-eyes are pretty dark and I just gotta have something more opaque to cover up the discoloration. Not all is lost though. I can see this concealer working out as an eye base for my eye shadows.

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara Deluxe
This mascara is probably my favorite item in my August glam bag. Eyeko's Black Magic Mascara does a fab job at lengthening, volumizing, defining and curling my wimpy lashes-without clumping, smudging or flaking throughout the day. Although it's water-resistant it's super easy to remove, and the curvy brush helps separate and evenly coat every lash hair with product.

Firma Beauty 103 Angled Contour Brush
This brush is ideal for contouring. The synthetic bristles are super soft, and the angled shape effortlessly fits the curves of the face for easy application and blending.

Steve Laurant Precision Tip Liner
This eyeliner didn't win me over the very first time I used it. The color wasn't all that opaque and the formula felt a little dry. But I tried it again a next time and my feelings towards it completely changed. The formula was easier to work with, and it flowed beautifully on my lids. The color payoff was also much better. I guess second time's a charm in this case!

Air Repair Skincare Super-Hydrating Eye Cream
This fast-absorbing eye cream helps moisturize the eye area for hours. It's lightweight and contains ingredients like vitamin c, green tea extract, and cloudberry seed oil which fights inflammation and puffy under-eyes for a smoother look and feel. This is the only item in the glam bag that I haven't tried out yet, but it sounds really promising!
