Review│Dose Of Colors Baked Browns Eyeshadow Palette

Dose Of Colors recently came out with two new eyeshadow palettes-Marvelous Mauves and Baked Browns, that consist of essential matte shades. The eyeshadows are talc free, paraben free, and cruelty free.

If you love cool mauves, then the Marvelous Mauves palette is the one to check out. But if like me, you can't get enough of warm brown eyeshadows, the Baked Browns palette won't disappoint.

Brown eyeshadows are my go-to, so naturally, I had to get my hands on the Baked Browns Palette. I am so glad I did because I am obsessed.

Love The Packaging-Perfect Compact Size, And The Mirror Is A Bonus!

The eyeshadows in the Baked Browns palette are probably some of the best I have ever come across. The pigmentation is truly phenomenal, as is the soft and creamy texture which is consistent among the eyeshadows. The shadows blend like a dream and they last all day long on my lids (atop a primer). I love how beautifully the eyeshadow colors compliment one another, and how easy it is to create everyday and sultry eye looks.

Palette Includes A Double-Sided Brush That's Very Handy For On-The-Go Touch-Ups

One thing I noticed about the eyeshadows in the Baked Browns palette was how great they look on the lids. The shadows glide on the skin with ease, and they don't enhance any of the fold lines on my lids-which I have quite a few of. I have a special place in my heart for shimmery and frosty eyeshadows, but I can see why many people prefer mattes since they tend to be more forgiving on the lids than shimmered shadows, which can draw attention to imperfections.

Something to keep in mind: since the eyeshadows are on they softer side, there will be quite a bit of powder kick-back when you dip your eye brush in the shadow pans. This isn't really a deal breaker for me since tapping off the excess powder from the brush before application helps prevent any fall-out from taking place.

Overall
It's pretty obvious that I highly regard Dose Of Color's Baked Browns eyeshadow palette. I have a couple of eyeshadow palettes that I have recently acquired, and this one is definitely at the top spot. It's all I reach for as of late and I can't recommend it enough. It's really a great palette to own since it has such nice, user-friendly shades that can work for day and night looks.

I am tempted to try the Marvelous Mauves palette, next. I always did love how well purple eyeshadows look against my brown eyes!
