Ipsy│September 2016

Although my September Ipsy bag wasn't the most exciting bag I have received, I still think it contained a couple of interesting and useful products that I can easily incorporate into my routine.

Check it out!

Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Tonic: This toner is infused with awesome skin-benefiting ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid to help boost moisture and plump skin, dragon's blood to protect, vitamin B3 to brighten, and rose water for the healing and improving of skin texture. Even though I like how refreshed my skin feels when I spritz a bit of this tonic on my face, I can't say I am too fond of how heavy this feels on. I think I would totally enjoy this more if it contained a more lightweight formula. Sigh.

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme: This stuff is the real deal when it comes to lip plumpers, and it's probably one of the more effective ones I have come across. I gave this a try the other day and I was amazed at how it instantly plumped up my lips and gave them a fuller appearance. I also noticed how much smoother and healthier my lips looked, which is likely due to the conditioning properties of the avocado and jojoba oils this lip plumper contains. Like most lip plumpers, this one does impart a tingling sensation on my lips, which lasts about 10 minutes or so. It feels a little uncomfortable to be honest, but it's not totally unbearable.

Make Beauty Skin Illuminator: You can use this creamy highlighter anywhere on the skin, for an extra bit of glow. I love that this is paraben free.

BeFine Food Skin Care Exfoliating Cleanser: This exfoliating cleanser helps detox, smooth, brighten and cleanse skin. It contains ingredients like brown sugar and almond oats which nourish dry skin, and aid in the removal of excess oil.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Nail Polish in Va Voom: This deep purple hue is gorgeous and so perfect for fall. This one is going to be my next mani color for sure!
