Review│Ardency Inn Modster Long Play Lip Vinyl in Original Mix

I have had Ardency Inn's Modster Long Play Lip Vinyl in the shade Original Mix (vivid red-orange with neon pink reflects) for quite some time, and admittedly, it wasn't until recently that I finally got around to giving it a proper try.

This is a full coverage lip color that combines the shine of a gloss, with the longevity of a stain. A hybrid of the two, if you will. I gotta say, as soon as this lip color touches my lips I am just in awe of how beautiful it looks on. Original Mix packs a huge punch in the color payoff department, and the overtly shiny finish it imparts is seriously unlike one I have ever seen from other glosses. I don't really notice the reflects in this after initial application, but the tiny glitters do end up making a subtle appearance once the stain develops later on.

Ardency Inn's Modster Long Play Lip Vinyl has a formula that I think is pretty nice. It's smooth, not too thick or uncomfortably sticky, fragrance free, and it lasts for hours with a stain left behind once wear time is up. And a pretty stain it is. I did have a little feathering action going on, so a lip liner is a definite must in order to help prevent that. I do appreciate the flexible angled sponge tip applicator on the wand, which helps make application quick, easy, and precise.

Overall: If you are keen on glosses with intense pigment and lengthy wear times, you may find yourself possibly enjoying Ardency Inn's Modster Long Play Lip Vinyl-which currently has four fun shades in it's lineup. Maybe it's just me but I find the Modster Long Play Lip Vinyl so refreshing, not to mention, a lovely change from the liquid lipstick craze going on. Don't get me wrong, I love my matte liquid lipsticks, but sometimes it's nice to try something else every now and then. And to think I almost forgot just how awesome a lip gloss can be. I think it's safe to say that Original Mix is going to be one of my go-to spring/summer lip colors!
