I am always on the lookout for new products that will work wonders for my dry, frizzy, and totally damaged hair. So when I got the opportunity to try out a couple of products from Hask, I couldn't have been anymore ready.
Hask products consist of shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioners, shine oils, and stylers which are formulated with high quality key ingredients, that help treat and repair all hair types. The products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, alcohol, artificial colors, and gluten.
The Macadamia Oil lineup is ideal for dry and damaged hair, since it contains essential nutrients and fatty acids that aid in softness and shine. It also helps hydrate, nourish, and protect. The products contain a pleasant, vanilla nut gourmand fragrance that's right up my alley.
Macadamia Oil Moisturizing Shampoo: Based on my experience with sulfate-free shampoos, I wasn't expecting much lather production from this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. A little bit of product is all I need to achieve a nice lather on my thick, medium-length hair. I just love how well this shampoo cleanses, without stripping my hair of moisture. Huge plus!
Macadamia Oil Moisturizing Conditioner: This conditioner is pretty moisturizing, and it does a good job at making my hair super soft. Although, I do feel like I have to use quite a bit of this to coat all of my hair.
Macadamia Oil Moisturizing Deep Conditioner: When my hair needs an extra dose of hydration, this treatment does the job. I apply a generous amount to my hair-concentrating the product more on the ends of the hair which are the most damaged, and leave it on for 10 minutes. After rinsing, my hair feels amazingly smooth and it's also more manageable to work with. Two uses is what I can get from this packet, which is not bad.
Macadamia Shine Oil Treatment: I love hair oils. And this one is no exception. I use this lightweight on damp hair before blow-drying, and I love how silky smooth it makes my hair feel and look. I also apply a bit to my hair after styling, and it adds the most perfect amount of shine, as a finishing touch. This oil feels lightweight on, and it's loaded with omega-7, vitamin e, and antioxidants.
Overall
The products from Hask have been a real treat to use, and are a nice addition to my hair care routine. They are also super affordable too, which is great. If your hair is on the drier side, definitely consider checking out Hask's Macadamia Oil products. I hope you will be as impressed as I was.
