I finally caved and subscribed to Boxycharm! For $21 a month, you receive a box containing 4-5 full and luxury sized beauty items. Shipping is free, too. I haven't been subscribed to Boxycharm for too long, but so far, I am very impressed. Since starting my Boxycharm subscription, I have discovered lots of neat new products that I wouldn't have known about otherwise if it weren't for Boxycharm. Gotta love that!
Check out what I received in my July box, which had a total value of $132.95!
gorge I'll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray: This is a leave in conditioning spray that helps restore, protect, and repair hair. My hair has not been getting the attention it deserves, so any product that will help my tresses look and feel healthier is a welcome addition. I spritz some of this on damp hair, making sure to really work it in, and I style as usual. I do find that my hair is much more manageable after using this spray. It also feels softer and looks shinier. My only quirk with this product is the fragrance, which is a little overwhelming. Luckily the scent softens within a few minutes after application. (Full Size: $29.95)
OFRA Cosmetics Lip Liner: This water resistant lip liner is right up my alley. It's creamy, easy to apply, and the neutral rosy-pink shade pairs nicely with a variety of lipstick colors. I received the shade "Glacier Pink". (Full Size: $13)
yourMinerals Transparent Veil Setting Powder: This setting powder has a silky texture that settles effortlessly on the skin. It minimizes the look of my pores and fine lines, and it gives my face an overall smoother appearance. But when it came to oil-control, I didn't find this powder to be all that effective in that department. Two-three hours after application, my shiny t-zone was out in full effect. Reapplication was a must. (Medium Full Size: $26)
Vasanti Professional Blush Brush: I was really happy to see this blush brush in my box. The nylon hairs feel soft against my skin, and the size is perfect for precisely applying blush on the cheeks. (Full Size: $29)
MDMflow Greater Than Mascara: The shiny gold tube of this mascara is probably one of the coolest I have came across. So luxurious! This mascara promises volume, intense pigment, and an easy to remove formula. My lashes did indeed obtain some length, volume, and definition (I applied three coats). But the effect was pretty subtle. Definitely not intense. Not a bad thing, though. I think I will have better luck layering this mascara with another one. The brush was easy to work with, I didn't get any clumping, and the formula didn't weigh down my lashes. I didn't spot any flakes or smudges throughout wear time, and eye makeup remover easily removed this mascara off my lashes at the end of the day. (Full Size: $35)
