My lips are super dry prone, so tackling the dryness is an absolute must for me. And what better way to do that than with a lip scrub? I recently got Julep's Sugar Smooch Lip Scrub and I have to say, this is one of the better lip scrubs that I have encountered.
Julep Sugar Smooch Lip Scrub-I love the round ball-shaped gold jar!
Julep's Sugar Smooch Lip Scrub is infused with a blend of skin softening and smoothing ingredients like brown sugar, vitamin E, a variety of conditioning oils, molasses, and Shea butter. It also contains a warm, sweet fragrance that's just scrumptious. To use, I apply a little bit of the scrub onto my lips, and start massaging it around in circular motions (the sugar granules are very gentle, and non-abrasive). After I am done, I take a tissue and wipe the scrub off my lips. I do notice that a slippery film is left behind on my lips though, so to eliminate that I follow up the tissue removal with a quick water rinse.
I am amazed at how ridiculously soft my lips look and feel after I use Julep's Sugar Smooch Lip Scrub. The flakes and dryness are instantly diminished, and thanks to this lip scrub, my lip colors go on much more smoother and evenly. The best part is that the softening effect prolongs for days-gotta love that!
Overall
I am so glad that I decided to give Julep's Sugar Smooch Lip Scrub a try. This is such a necessary product in my routine, especially since I am constantly sporting lipsticks that require a smooth surface for the best looking results. I highly recommend this for those of you who are looking for something that will quickly help smooth and soften dry lips. I don't think you will be disappointed.
