Hey, dolls! I hope you are all doing great and enjoying your week so far. Today I am going to be sharing with you all my nail color of the week. I was in the mood to sport a bright shade, and I knew that O.P.I's Come To Poppy would fit the bill perfectly. I realize that we are technically still in winter mode, and although I love the deep tones that the fall and winter call for, the bright nail colors in my stash are just longing to come out and play.
O.P.I's Come To Poppy is a gorgeous bright pink/coral, with fine silver shimmers embedded throughout. This is actually my very first O.P.I. nail polish. I got this one over at T.J. Maxx a few weeks ago, for just $3.99. It was a bargain that I couldn't pass up. After doing a bit of online research, I found out that Come To Poppy was part of O.P.I's Nice Stems! collection from summer 2011.
With this being my first O.P.I nail color and all, I am happy to report that I had a very pleasant experience with it. First, let's chat about how awesome the brush is. It's width makes application a breeze, and the bristles coat my nail beds with a perfect amount of polish, each time. No clean-up required. The formula was a pleasure to work with-it was smooth, and it flowed on the nails beautifully. Also, drying time was relatively quick. One coat can result in opaque coverage but out of habit, I added two for good measure. The finish of this one is a bit on the frosty side. I am not usually very keen on frosty nail colors but this one has a fresh look to it. And the accompanying shiny finish is gorgeous, to boot.

Overall: This is a lovely shade to sport for the coming spring/summer months and I just know that I am going to be getting loads of usage out of it. Actually, come to think of it, Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I have no doubt that Come To Poppy would make a gorgeous mani color for the occasion. I can't wait to add more O.P.I nail colors to my collection. I hope they are all amazing like this one!
What do you all think of O.P.I's Come To Poppy Nail Color? Which are your favorite O.P.I polishes?
