Like many, I have a weakness for chocolate. It has a comforting and addictive taste and scent that always keeps me coming back for more. Although I like snacking on chocolate treats every now and then, it never really crossed my mind to fragrance my skin with a chocolate scented skincare product. There is a first time for everything though because as soon as I spotted this Mini Chocmania Body Butter ($6.00) over at The Body Shop, I didn't think twice and immediately scooped it up to bring home with me. This was going to be interesting.

I love the look of the container. The image on the front as well as the rich brown coloring, makes me crave chocolate every time I look at it. As soon as I opened the container, I was immediately drawn to the chocolate scent. It's delicious! The warm chocolate fragrance is sure to please chocolate lovers everywhere, without a doubt. The smell isn't offensive or cloying, at all, either. The chocolate fragrance lingers on the skin for a good while, and by the end of the day I still detect a hint of the chocolate scent on my skin.

I really enjoy the creamy, semi thick consistency of this body butter. It applies beautifully, and it quickly absorbs into my skin leaving behind a healthy looking sheen. After use, my skin is super soft. This body butter is supposed to provide 48 hours of hydration which I think is pretty neat, and I think I am going to have to agree with that statement. I have noticed that my skin has been much softer and more moisturized than usual. So much so that I can skip a day or two without applying any sort of lotion or body butter to my skin.

Overall: I really enjoyed this chocolate experience that was brought on by this body butter. I never would have thought that a chocolate body butter would be so luxurious and comforting to my skin. If you love fun, warm, and food inspired fragrances, this body butter may be a nice one to look into. The fact that it's softening and moisturizing is an added bonus.
