I have been finding it hard to resist trying out lip balms, lately. I think its because they are so easy to wear for day to day and, I just simply love the different kinds that are available, now. I can't get enough! Today, I am going to be sharing my thoughts on Wet n' Wild's Juicy Lip Balm in strawberry ($2.99). Check it out!

First, let's talk packaging. I am absolutely loving the chunky plastic, thick lip balm tube. So fun! Not only is the tube thick, but the lip balm itself is wide and thick as well. You are definitely getting a lot of product, which is always great. This lip balm does contain a scent and sadly, I am not a fan of it. The strawberry fragrance smells really artificial and is somewhat cloying, as well. Luckily, the scent dissipates when the lip balm is on the lips.

When I apply this lip balm on my lips, it goes on sheer, and feels really smooth going on. Also, I really like the shiny finish that it imparts on my lips. Super pretty! This lip balm does feel a bit heavy on my lips, though so, that's a bummer. As for lasting power, I get about two hours wear out of this lip balm, before I have to reapply, again. My lips never feel dried out or uncomfortable throughout the day so, I can keep reapplying this lip balm without any issues.

Although there were a few good qualities that I liked about this lip balm like, its cool packaging, affordability, the inclusion of SPF, its moisturizing ingredients, and shiny finish, I just can't seem to get over the artificial smell and the heavy feeling it induced on my lips. Unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be.
