Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion

Continuing with my goal of using much more gentler skincare products, along with adding a new cleanser, I decided to change my moisturizer as well. I was running low on the Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV-Lotion anyway so, I thought it was time to move on and explore other options. In comes Eucerin's Everyday Protection Face Lotion ($11.99). I thought that this would make a great moisturizer for me because, not only is this clinically proven to be safe and gentle for sensitive skin but, it contains an SPF of 30 as well. The Garnier moisturizer I was using only had an SPF of 15. Although the SPF of 15 isn't terrible by any means, I think an SPF of 30 is much more suitable for me. I love the extra protection.

First, I love the pump bottle packaging. Its really easy to control and dispense the perfect amount of product that you want to use. For me, I find that 1 pump-1 pump and a half, is enough to cover my entire face and neck. As soon as I apply this moisturizer on my face, I don't detect any other scent other than that of the sunscreen. I wouldn't say its an overwhelming scent. It does fade after awhile and, shouldn't bother those who are sensitive to fragrances.

This moisturizer quickly absorbs into my skin, which I really like. My face doesn't feel sticky or suffocated, after application. This moisturizer from Eucerin really is lightweight. My skin feels much smoother and supple, as well-not oilier or uncomfortable. I have super dry skin and, this moisturizer is enough for me, to handle the dryness with. My foundation glides on easily over this lotion too, which is a huge plus. I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation, either. Score!

Honestly, there is nothing about this moisturizer that I don't love. It works for my sensitive skin and, I am glad I gave it a try. I will definitely repurchase again, once I run out. Which I am sure won't be for awhile. If you are looking for an affordable, lightweight, gentle daily moisturizer that contains an SPF, then I definitely suggest giving this moisturizer a try. I am in LOVE!

Note (please read): According to the Eucerin website, they have since revamped their products with new names and new and sleeker, packaging. From my understanding, the ingredients still remain the same, though. The facial lotion that I am showing you today contains the old packaging with the former name of, Everyday Protection Face Lotion. This moisturizer is now called, Daily Protection SPF 30 Moisturizing Face Lotion. The products with the new packaging will appear in stores early this year. I haven't seen the products with the new packaging/names yet but, I imagine they will be rolling around in stores, soon-if they aren't already there.

Have any of you tried this moisturizer from Eucerin? Which are your favorite daily moisturizers?
