Product Review: Wet n' Wild Color Icon Trio-Walking On Eggshells

Hey Dolls,

I hope you are all enjoying your day! I am finally done with the school semester! YAY! Now comes the hard part-waiting for the grades to go up. I have faith that I did well in all of my classes.

Here is my latest Wet n' Wild Color Icon Trio addition-Walking On Eggshells ($2.99). I was really attracted to this eyeshadow trio for the most part, because they are colors that I usually wear on a day to day basis. You can never have enough neutrals, if you ask me. Not to mention, lovely frosted neutrals. I will take frosty and shimmered eyeshadows any day. Especially, for these warmer, summer months that are to come ahead.

Wet n' Wild Color Icon Trio-Walking on Eggshells

Here is a quick eye look I did with this eyeshadow trio:

Browbone Color-Inner Corners
Eyelid Color-All over the lid area
Crease Color-Outer V, and blended into crease

Left To Right: Browbone, Crease, Eyelid

Color Breakdown:

1. Browbone- This is a lovely brightening, frosty cream color. Because this color is too frosty for me to apply on my browbone, I prefer applying it as either an all over lid color on those days where I just want a pretty wash of color, and I also like to apply it on the inner corners of the eyes to help make my eyes appear more awake and brighter.

2. Crease- This is a medium golden tan/brown that works lovely as a crease color, or an all over lid color. I love that this color is very buildable weather you are going for a soft, smokey look, or you want to add a bit of depth to your neutral eyes.

3. Eyelid- This color is definitely my most favorite out of the bunch. It's a gorgeous frosty champagne that looks amazing on. When I am in a rush to get ready for school in the mornings, I sometimes just apply this color alone, some mascara, and voila! My eyes look phenomenal, and brighter. The best part was that it literally took seconds to achieve.

What I love about these Wet n' Wild Color Icon Trios is that, the colors are all so very versatile. You can play around with them and achieve something really spectacular, that takes literally minutes to do. The pigmentation on these are really lovely. The colors are gorgeous and play well together-they give a nice soft focus frosty effect which does not overpower the eye. You are just left with a soft, and supple eye look, that looks natural and glamorous at the same time. With a good eyeshadow primer (I have super oily eyelids), the shadows last a good 6-7 hours on, before I start to see a bit of fading. I was really happy to see that the shadows blended really easily as well.

I would definitely repurchase this eyeshadow trio again. If you are in search of neutral, everyday colors that contain a pop of frost at a very affordable price, than this is definitely the eyeshadow palette for you.
