Smashbox Wish For The Perfect Pencils-Review and Swatches

Don't you all just love the Holiday Season? I not only love it because that is when I can spend time with all my friends, family, and loved ones, but also because when it comes to makeup, there are a bunch of amazing beauty kits and sets released as well! I went to my nearby Sephora store the other day and I picked up the Smashbox Wish For The Perfect Pencils set ($16.00). This limited edition contains four gorgeous waterproof eyeliners that I am sure will suit everybody's fancy. If gorgeous pencil liners aren't enough, Smashbox will also "donate $1.00 for every Wish Purchase up to $25,000 to Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that grants the wish of life by providing medical care, life-saving research and on-going education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind." Doing good while looking good is ALWAYS in style. Love that! (click all images to enlarge)

Smashbox Wish For The Perfect Pencils

Left To Right: Graphite, Orchid, 14K, Onyx

Left To Right: Graphite, Orchid, 14K, Onyx (so cute! They fit in the palm of my hand)

Top To Bottom: Graphite, Orchid, 14K, Onyx

The liners included are:
1. Graphite- Charcoal Grey with hints of green and gold sparkle?
2. Orchid- Dark Purple
3. 14K- Light Frosty/shimmered Golden Cream
4. Onyx- Deep Black

I have had some time to play around with these pencil liners and I must say I am impressed. When it comes to applying these liners to your upper and lower lash line, these babies deliver and don't disappoint. They go on pigmented, smooth, and creamy=no tugging on the skin, Yay! With the exception of 14K which goes on a bit sheer though. But 14K shines when used as an inner corner color to help brighten up the eye area, and make those peepers pop. When it comes to lasting power, they last a pretty good while before I see a tiny, tiny-hardly noticeable, hint of fading. But believe me, it still looks good after a long day. I applied these on the back of my hand while I was swatching them, and I rubbed, and rubbed, and these liners did not budge!

I want to mention that if you are going to purchase this pencil liner set just to apply them to your waterline, I would not recommend you do so. It's funny, I tried applying them on the waterline and none of the shades would show up...then I am like wait a minute? HELLO ALINA, they are waterproof! LOL! I am so silly sometimes, I tell ya'.

Overall, this pencil eyeliner set from Smashbox is a great buy! I don't really venture too much when it comes to Smashbox cosmetics, but I am definitely going to check out more items from their cosmetics line.
What do you all think of these liners? Have you tried them? Love them, hate them? Let me know in the comments section lovelies!
