My Top 10 Beauty Products of 2009!

Ok, I know it may be a little to late for this but better late than never right?

Here are my top 10 products that have been my staples in 2009:

1. MAC Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer ($16.50)

This concealer has been so good to my under eye circles. I swear it is the best thing I have found to help minimize my appearance of the darkness under my eyes. I love how it is creamy and easy to apply. I like to apply this in patting motions under my eyes and set it with powder. Voila! Take that under eye circles!

2. Bare Minerals SPF 15 Foundation ($25.00)

When I have those days where I just don't feel like wearing much on my face, but still want flawless coverage I can always trust in my handy Bare Minerals foundation. Seriously, I just spot cover up my acne scars and then apply the foundation on my face with a kabuki brush in swirling motions and I watch my face even out. I love that it is like 2 products in 1! It's your concealer and your foundation. I am always up for multi-tasking products. Believe me when I say, a little bit goes a long way when it comes to Bare Minerals. I also love the glow it gives to my face.

3. MAC Prep+Prime Trasparent Finishing Powder ($21.00)

I never thought I would find that perfect setting powder that would help keep my oilies at bay. Thank goodness this amazing setting powder came into my life! I use this finely milled setting powder to set my concealer, foundation and it works every time. My oily T-zone has finally met it's match.

4. Urban Decay Show Pony Shadow Box ($30.00)

As if the box isn't cute enough itself, what's inside it is even better! I love how this palette contains both your neutrals and your pops of color. I personally love using the more neutral, everyday appropriate shadows in this palette such as Smog (bronze) all over the lid, and a pop of snatch ( peach) on the inner corners to help brighten up my eyes when I am super tired getting ready for school in the mornings. When I am feeling daring, I add a pop of painkiller (aqua blue) on my lower lash line. Definitely a staple palette for me! Did I also mention the shadows are very pigmented and apply smooth as butter?

5. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero ($17.00)

I have finally found an eyeliner that will stay on my waterline for the whole day! This pencil eyeliner is so pigmented and you just need one glide on the waterline to achieve that dark, black color instead of having to go over it 50 billion times! I love how this pencil is perfect and creamy for water lining and creating smudged out looks for smokey eyes. I think this may be my HG pencil eyeliner and I am looking forward to trying out other colors from this line.

6. Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara

This mascara has been a daily staple for me ever since I purchased it. I love how the formula just glides on my lashes. It is also perfect for lower lashes as well. The mascara brush makes it super easy to coat those hard to reach lashes and it also helps give that longer, clump free, false-eye lash look. Another plus is that it is very simple to remove and it does not make your lashes feel hard.

7. MAC Girl About Town Amplified Lipstick ($14.00)

Those who have been following this blog know that this lipstick is a staple for me. I incorporate it in a lot of my looks of the day. I believe this vivid, hot pink color is universally flattering on every skin tone and it's so much fun to wear. I also love how creamy this lipstick is.

8. Bare Minerals All-Over Face Color in Pure Radiance ($18.00)

This has been in my makeup stash for a long time and I am so happy I decided to re-discover it and bring it back into my life. I love using this shimmery champagne-colored powder to highlight my cheek bones, and bridge of my nose. It gives my face that soft, angelic look. Love it!

9. Coastal Scents 88 Eyeshadow Palette ($18.95)

I jumped late on the Coastal Scents 88 eyeshadow palette. I finally put my foot down and purchased it and I am so happy I did. I love that this palette contains so many eyeshadow colors that can be used for an endless amount of eyeshadow combinations. It also does not hurt that it is affordable, and the pigmentation is amazing!

10. MAC Creme D' Nude Cremesheen Lipstick ($14.00)

This lipstick is the perfect nude for me. It was actually my first introduction to the nude lip craze. This lipstick is creamy and perfect paired with a strong, smokey eye.
