I did a little (and I do mean little) shopping at MAC the other day, and I purchased the Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder and Girl About Town Amplified Creme Lipstick.

I have been wanting to try the Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder for awhile now-because the usual powder that I was using (Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil) just wasn't cutting it for me anymore and I decided to move on. So far, I am really liking it. I mainly use it to set my under eye concealer, and I also brush a bit of this on my forehead, chin, and nose-you know, the usual places where one gets oily. My only gripe about this transparent powder is the sifter jar it comes in. It can get quite messy if you are not careful.



I finally got a hot pink lipstick! Now I don't have to use the Make Up For Ever eyeshadow in #75 anymore that I was using as a pink lip. I love Girl About Town! This is the perfect bright pink lip for me. it really stands out, and I can definitely see this color pair up great with a black or gray smokey eye. I can't wait to rock this lip color for a night on the town. I love that the lipstick is not drying. Although, I make sure to apply a moisturizing lip balm prior to applying a lipstick so that my lips can be extra hydrated and moisturized. This method I find helps lip colors stay on longer, and helps keep them from drying out my lips. I especially love the vanilla scent it has.
