L.A. Colors Shimmering Loose eyeshadow in Sunshine, and Lollipop
Happy Wednesday lovlies!
I hope your wednesday is off to a great start.
I love shimmer when it comes to makeup. I especially love shimmer on my eyes, and my cheeks. That is why I was intrigued with the L.A. Colors Shimmering Loose Shadow with Brush ($3.99). When I stopped by my local beauty supply store. I purchased 2 colors-Sunshine, a shimmering gold, and Lollipop, a shimmering soft pink.
These babies have loads of shimmer in them. So be warned those who are not fond of shimmer. I was very impressed with the packaging because they come in a screw-top container and there is a little brush that is used to dip into the shadow. But then I think-when the shadow reaches to the very bottom, is this little brush going to reach? I sure hope product wont get wasted if I ever finish the loose shadows.
As for pigmentation, both of the colors are just a load of shimmery goodness. You do get the hint of pink and gold, but the shimmer over powers the color a bit more. I have noticed that the shadow go all over the place. I have major shimmer fall-out when I apply these shadows, but it does not really bother me because I just swipe it away.
I suggest wearing these loose shadows for going about the town at night, because the shimmer may be a little "too much" for daytime. I love these loose shadows, I find them really pretty, and easy to wear. Just swipe on the lid with the little brush that comes with it and blend out a bit. Thats it! Make sure to wear this over a good eyeshadow primer, so the shadows will last all day on your lids. These shadows are also great at layering over other eyeshadows, in order to give them a pop of shimmer.
