Hey Beauties!
I am officially back into blogging mode. LOL! Stay tuned for more posts from now on :)
Here is a look of the day that I came up with today. I used a lot of the products from MAC's latest collection, To The Beach. I really like how this look turned out, especially the glossy pink lips and the eyeshadow Sweet & Punchy. I am telling you, Sweet & Punchy is such a unique chartreuse green color that I think needs to be in everybody's eyeshadow collection. I read that sweet & Punchy is a good dupe for another MAC limited edition shadow called Rated R (correct me if I am wrong). Sweet & Punchy is a perfect summer shadow, and I love how pigmented it is and how it brings out the brown in my eyes. Love!
Here are pictures of the look and products used listed below them. Thank You all for stopping by and I hope you all enjoy!

Haul: MAC To The Beach
Hey Beauties!
TGIF! What do you all have planned for this memorial day weekend? I hope you all enjoy it and spend all this weekend having fun and relaxing :)
Yesterday as soon as I woke up I just had to go to my local MACY'S MAC counter to check out the much buzzed about collection-To The Beach. When I arrived I was so overwhelmed by all that was released in this collection. I had my heart on getting the popular Marine Life Highlighter and I am so happy that the MAC counter had a bunch of them still available. I was worried that they would have sold out of it already because it is even sold out on the MAC website! LOL! But hopefully MAC restocks soon :) I wanted to ask you all about the lustre drops that also came out with the collection. Have any of you tried them? I am thinking about picking up pink rebel-it looks like it would be a gorgeous highlight color. Let me know what you all think of them.
Here are pictures, some swatches, and product descriptions of what I picked up. Thank You all for stopping by and I hope you all enjoy! Did any of you pick up anything from To The Beach collection? Let me know :) (Click All Images To Enlarge)
MAC High-Light Powder in Marine Life
This highlight powder is so pretty! Gosh did you all see the beautiful gold over spray? Gorgeous! It really adds a special touch to this powder. But sadly, I have read reviews and they all have written that the gold over spray goes away the first or second time this powder is used :( But I am sure the beautiful soft pink and coral colors will make up for it LOL! The seahorse image is beautiful as well. I can't wait to use it for an upcoming look of the day.
MAC Powder Blush in Hipness

Hipness is a packaged in a cute green compact that has a gorgeous starfish image on the lid. This blush definitely screams beach to me. I would describe this blush as a soft coral color infused with a tiny hint of cool pink and fine golden shimmers. I am sure this blush would look amazing on all skin tones, especially with a tan. Love!
Left To Right: Sweet & Punchy, Shimmermoss
I picked up two eye shadows from this collection (both are veluxe pearls). Sweet & Punchy was one that really stood out to me because I really don't have anything that is quite similar to this color and it is a gorgeous shimmery chartreuse green color. I have brown eyes and I am sure this color will make them stand out even more. I also picked up Shimmermoss which is a really pretty frosty teal color. Both of these shadows are very smooth, pigmented and they are perfect for creating shimmery fun in the sun summer eye looks. I want to mention that in the swatch pictures above, Shimmermoss looks a bit silver. I could not photograph this eyeshadow color well but trust me when I say that there is much more teal to the color in real life than the picture shows.
MAC Lipglass in Splashing

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Lazy Day

Left To Right: Mac Lipglass in Splashing, Lipstick in Lazy Day

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Lazy Day

Left To Right: Mac Lipglass in Splashing, Lipstick in Lazy Day
I am a huge fan of anything pink when it comes to lip products, so I had to pick up these two pink lip products. Splashing Lipglass is a really pretty soft pink that contains very fine gold shimmer. I love how this lipglass is so pigmented. I can't wait to wear this gloss on top of other pink lippies like MAC Angel, and Pink Nouveau. Lazy Day lipstick is a gorgeous cool toned soft pink. I love how smoothly it goes on the lips too.

Fashion Of The Day #1
Hey Dolls!
Are you all ready for the weekend? I hope you all enjoy it and I hope you all plan something relaxing and exciting :)
Here is an outfit of the day that I wore yesterday. The weather has been amazing here in New York and I wore a really comfortable flower print short sleeved dress, with a pair of black gladiator sandals. As for accessories, I kept it pretty simple because I did not want the accessories to over power the print on the dress. I wore a white watch, silver bangles, and some silver hoop earrings.
Let me know if you like the idea of my doing fashion of the day posts. If you want to see more please let me know, I would love to hear your thoughts :)

Look Of The Day: Shimmery Gold and Purple
Hey lovelies!
I hope your Thursday is off to a great start :) I am sorry about my lack of posts...you all know the deal-Finals week and next week I have three more finals to go and then I am on my way to enjoy my 3 months summer vacation from school Yay!!!! Don't worry, this posting dry spell will be over very soon. I am waiting until I reach 200 followers so that way I can finally do a contest for you all, Yay Can't wait :)
Here is my latest look of the day. This look is comprised of a shimmery gold and purple eye, with soft peach cheeks and a nude, shiny lip. My inspiration for this look was summer. When I think of summer I cant help but envision shimmers and gold. The purple was inspired by sunsets when they have that light wash of purple on them-so beautiful. And not to mention that I also love sunsets. They are one of earth's beautiful things :)
Here are some pictures of the look as well as products used listed below them. Thank you all so much for sticking with me and stopping by. I hope you all enjoy! (all of the urban decay eye shadows are from the deluxe eyeshadow palette)

My Makeup Collection And Storage!
Hey lovelies!
How has the weekend been treating you all? I hope you all are having a fab one.
Here is a quick post in where I show you all my makeup collection, and how I store it. I store my makeup in a 3 compartment plastic drawer storage bin. But I am looking into purchasing another one that contains more drawers because my makeup collection keeps on growing and it is getting a tiny bit hard to fit things in the drawers and store things properly that makes things easier to find for me.
I must warn you that I really don't have many things like some other people do-I have seen some huge makeup collections that are amazing! Also, I want to note that I am not doing this post to show off in any way-I just thought it would be fun to show you all how I store my makeup and let you all take a peak at some of the items I have :)
(click all images to enlarge)
This is the top drawer. In this drawer I have all of my Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes, Personi eyeshadow palette and lip palette, NYX eyeshadows, Bare Minerals eyeshadows, sharpeners, eyeshadow primers, tweezers, eyelashes, NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow pencils, and other random eyeshadow and palettes.
This is the second drawer. In this drawer I keep all of my mascaras, blushes, bronzers, highlighters, liquid eyeliners, gel eyeliners, pencil eyeliners, some foundation, concealer, and eyelash curler.
This is the last drawer. In this drawer I keep all of myMAC, NYX, and Rimmel lipsticks, MAC tinted lip conditioners, NYX, E.L.F. and Tarte lip glosses, MAC lipglasses, MAC pigments, Make Up For Ever eyeshadows, MAC eyeshadows, a pair of eyelashes, wet n' wild bronzer and blush.
I store all of my nail polish in a little basket that I got a long time ago. I believe it came in a body lotion and shower gel bath set that I got at CVS. I have some Wet n' wild, Sephora by O.P.I. , Zoya, Sally Hansen, Color Club, Urban Outfitters, Sinful Colors, and Konad image plates and the stamp and scraper.
I keep my face and eye makeup brushes in a round glass jar. I am sorry that the brushes are dirty...gotta clean them ASAP! LOL!
I hope you all enjoyed this post. How do you all store your makeup? Let me know in the comments section :)

Nail Of The Day/Product Rave: Kiss Everlasting French
Hey Dolls!
I hope your Monday is going well. What are you all up to tonight? I am just going to relax, watch some TV, and hit the hay early tonight because I have to wake up at 6:30 AM for school tomorrow ugh...I am so not a morning person.
I just had to share with you all my new obsession. It is the Kiss Everlasting French glue-on nail kit ($5.99). This is the second time that I purchased a pack of these and I love them. I used to always go to nail salons to get acrylic french tips on my nails. It was such a pain in the boo-tay to always have to go in for fillings every 2 weeks...not to mention the price. I was spending probably around $70 a month just to maintain the acrylics. But I don't have to worry about spending a ton of money to have perfectly, natural looking acrylics all thanks to this french nail kit by Kiss.
This nail kit is so easy to use. If I am not mistaken, there are two types of lengths available-the real short length, and the medium length which is a bit longer. I always go for the real short length because I think they are more easy to handle and they look so natural. Almost as if the nails look like they are my own! And there are two nail shapes available-the flat for more flatter nail beds, and regular for those who have a more rounded nail bed. I like to use the flat version because my nails are pretty flattened out.
The kit contains 24 nails in 12 sizes so it should be a breeze for you to find the perfect fit for your nails. The kit also comes with a mini 2-sided nail file to file your own nails and to customize the size of the nails in the kit just in case you need to file some down in order for them to fit you perfectly, a manicure stick that is used to push back your cuticles, and a tube of pink gel glue. All of the nails contain a tab on the tip of them so that they can be easily applied.
Here are some more pictures of this fab nail kit: (click all images for a larger view)

Steps and Directions on back of the box

Overall, I love this nail kit and I will keep on repurchasing. I want to note that these nails should not be on for more than 1 week. I keep them on for week and take them off, then I let my natural nails breathe for about 1 week and if I want to, I purchase another Kiss everlasting french nail kit and apply them again. Also when applying the nail glue, make sure you apply just a thin layer on both your natural nail and the Kiss nails because if a sloppy, thick layer is applied instead, the process can get pretty messy-trust me I know LOL!
Have any of you tried this french nail kit by Kiss? Let me now in the comments section, I would love to hear your thoughts :)
