here is yet another installment of beauty crave where I let you all in on what I am wanting to get at the moment beauty related ;) One can dream right? let me know if any of you have tried any of these products and weather you liked them or not. I am always looking for recommendations and suggestions on what products I should get or try out.
I have always been curious about airbrushing systems. I always hear that they leave your skin looking flawless, without looking like you actually have makeup on. The thing about airbrush systems is that they are quite a bit pricey. But if you are a professional makeup artist, then I recommend having an airbrushing system in your makeup kit. Even though I am not really a makeup artist (yet) i would still love to try airbrushing on makeup. The Temptu Airbrush Makeup System comes with the airbrush itself which provides light, medium, or full coverage, and an instructional DVD that shows you how to airbrush the right way with Temptu. The sad part is that the foundations ($55.00), blushes ($30.00), and highlighters($35.00) are sold separately. They are called temptu Airpods.
I am so looking forward to trying this new fragrance by Michael Kors. It includes notes of mandarin, gardena, and vetiver. Yum, I love floral fragrances.
It seems like for the most part you either love philosophy skin care or you don't. I love the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser. And I am curious to try their scrub, The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. But that's another review. This facial mist claims to increase the skin's moisture level, and it's an all natural product that contains 250 minerals and nutrients that give skin a healthy glow. A mist that makes my skin glow? I want it!
This eyeshadow palette is so adorable...and affordable! 12 eyeshadows for $28.00? That's a steal. And umm, it's Barbie!!!!! Too cute! who doesn't love Barbie?

Mask Fun!
Here is a face mask that I came up with. I was not really inspired by anything, I just went with the flow. I am sorry the colors are a little bit washed out and faded, my next attempt will be much better as I have never tried face masks before.
This was really fun to do, and a great option for a DIY Halloween/costume masks. if any of you attempt to try this mask, just make it your own and have fun with it. Change up the colors, etc..do whatever your creative mind pleases :)
Here are pictures of the mask, enjoy!

Nail Of The Day Remix: Polka Dot Madness
Ok dolls, remember that pretty blue color from color club I was rockin' on my nails?
Well, I found the color to be a bit dull on me, so I decided to play around a bit. I am no pro when it comes to nail designs, therefore I decided to do something simple that anybody can do...Polka Dots!
Here are pictures of what I started off with, but then as the day went on I decided to add a lil' more...enjoy!

Take a Q-Tip and apply polish on the tip, and dot/press on the nails-keep on adding polish as you go on to the rest of the nails
And Voila! Pretty, simple polka dots designs
Intentionally, I was going to just have the design on one neail in each hand but little did I know, I was fond of the polka dot design a little too much causing me to create this...
I quite like it, I have never done this before and I can't wait to play around with some more nail designs. I think this amped up the baby blue polish, no? Make sure you apply a clear top coat after drawing in the dots.
Orange Polka Dot Polish- Sally Hansen Insta Dry Polish in Orange You Fast
Pink Polka Dot Polish- Avon Nailwear Pro nail polish in Viva Pink

Fashion Crave: Forever 21
Hey dolls! Happy saturday.
As usual, I was browsing through forever21.com and I spotted lots of adorable and affordable stuff. Here is what is on my wish list, and what I am craving to get.
Can we say cute and affordable? There are 2 colors available in this dress, red and black. But I am leaning towards the red one...who says you can't have a little red dress?
I love the pretty designs on this shirt. I also love the beautiful cinch waist belt that comes along with it-pretty detailing. I can see this shirt looking amazing with a dark wash skinny jean and a fun red or black pump heel.
Long cardigan sweaters are a great trend for fall. They are comfy, trendy, and they are adorable with a pair of jeans and cute flats. This sweater comes in 2 colors-black and grey. Loving the grey one, I think its time to experiment with more colors other than black for a change. Don't ya think?
You will feel super fab in these adorable 4.5 inch booties. I love the lace detailing-super very cute and different than your average bootie. These booties come in 2 colors, black and brown. I love both colors. These booties would pair up great with skinny jeans, and a cute, top for a night on the town.
You will definetley make a bold fashion statement with this beautiful leaf necklace. I love it! Make sure when you wear bold accessories such as this necklace, that it's the only piece of jewelry you are rockin'. Let the necklace be the attention-getter.
Like anything you see here? Let me know!

Nail Of The Day: Color Club "Blue Light"
Hey gals'. TGIF! I hope you all had a lovley friday.
I wanted to paint my nails last night. and I decided on this beautiful medium sky blue color from color club. By the way, the Illamasqua nail polish in Baptiste that I was rockin' last week was a sinch to remove...no yellow nail stains (that I often get when I apply dark colors to my nails), I just swiped the ascetone drenched cotton ball and bam! gone, simple as that. if you haven't checked out my review of the Illamasqua polish in Baptiste click here.
Anyways, I painted my nails with Color Club's Blue Light polish. Blue Light is a beautiful, creamy sky blue color. Personally I have never tried blues on my nails-I never thought they would be very flattering on me. But I was sort of wrong, but sorta right. Don't get me wrong it is a beautiful color but I think it sort of washes me out. Do you agree with me on this dolls? Or is it just me?
Aside from that, as usual, Color Club polishes apply really easily and smoothly-no air bubbles, or streaks here! But I did find this color to be quite sheer if not layered properly. 1-2 coats will result in a really sheer wash of blue, but I found that 3-4 coats provided enough opaqueness, and really showed the true blue color. I topped it off by applying a clear top coat and voila! Creamy sky blue nails.
Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

CVS Cleansing and Makeup Remover Towelettes Rave
I hope all of you dolls are doing super great. Doing anything exciting this weekend? As for me, I am gonna do lots of HW, hang out with the hub and my dogs, and catch up on my blog posting! Blogging is a great love of mines, but when school work calls-I gotta answer it...leaving me drained for the rest of the week.
You know when you have those nights of clubbing and partying, and when you get home at around 5 AM you are too tired to take the time to take off and wash off the makeup? Believe it or not, almost all of us are guilty of that...yes me too! I know you are too! We all know the number one beauty rule, and makeup rule is to wash off all that junk on yo' face. By washing everything off, we eliminate the possibility of getting clogged pores, and most of all ACNE and breakouts! But most of us are just too tired. What is a gal' to do?
Solution maybe? Well, a great tip is to always have a pack of makeup remover wipes by your bedside. That way, you will have an easy one step method of removing your makeup off at night. Makeup remover wipes that I am so loving right now are the CVS Cleansing and Makeup Remover Towelettes ($2.99 for the trial pack of 15).

CVS Cleansing and Makeup remover Towelettes
Check out the awesome flip open lid and sealer. Great way to ensure that the wipes don't dry out!
Not only can they be found at your local CVS store right around the corner (well, mine is) but I just love how efficient and beneficial they are. CVS has many versions of makeup remover wipes, and the ones that I picked up are claimed to be compared to Pond's Clean Sweep. So if you are a fan of those, check these out!
Here are some skin beneficial features:
1. Deep cleans and removes impurities
2. contains Chamomile
3. Vitamin E
4. Triple Tea Complex
5. Alcohol and oil-free
6. Hypoallergenic
7. Safe for contact lens wearers
8. Dermatologist and opthalmologist tested
9. Contains a fresh fragrance
Wowzers! all those deets sound good to me.
I just take one of these babies, and wipe my face clean. I must say that this does the job well. I love that the wipes dont burn or sting my eyes like others do. It does seem to remove all of my makeup off-even my eye makeup and mascara! But, on those days when I am not so lazy, I actually wash my face with a cleanser right after I swipe just to make sure that everything is actually off my face. Another great thing about these wipes is that they do not dry out my face at all, and they haven't caused any breakouts. My face love them!
I say check these makeup remover wipes out. They are readily available at CVS drugstores, and you cant beat the price or the amazing skin benefits these wipes have.

Nail Of The Day: Illamasqua Nail Varnish in "Baptiste"
Happy Saturday!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I have finally kinda-sorta jumped on the Illamasqua band wagon. I made my first illamasqua purchase and I am super duper happy about this one. It is the fabulous Illamasqua nail varnish in Baptiste ($14.00). Babtiste is a beautiful deep purple color, thats so creamy and contains flecks of little purple shimmers. I have them on my nails, and it is gorgeous! I feel so fab.
Application wise, Illamasqua polishes apply smoothly and you get a great even color in just one coat! When I applied this polish, i used 2 coats, but you dont even need 2 coats because you get a great opaque look with just one. I am happy that there were no streaks, visible brush marks, and no air bubbles. And the drying time is really short as well.
Here are pics of the polish. I definetley recommend this illamasqua polish in Baptiste. This purple is great for fall. Very chick!
Also, when I was browsing the illamasqua isle in my local sephora store, I was really interested in their nail varnish polish in "phalic" which is a beautiful shimmery dark navy color. But I decided on getting "Baptiste"...but come to think of it, I think I am going to go back to Sephora and purchase Phalic. It's too cute to pass up! And navy polishes are another great color for fall.
Here is a nail swatch that I did when I tried Phalic on my nail at Sephora.
What do you all think of Baptiste? Love it hate it? Let me know in the comments! Have any of you tried Illamasqua polishes?

Sephora Sale!
Happy Sunday! The weekend is about to come to an end...but I know something that can perk people right up. A good sale! I was browsing on Sephora.com and I saw a ton of stuff at reduced prices in the sale section. Items are even up to 75% off!
Stock up lovelies! Click Here to check out the sale section.
Here are a few items that I think you all may find interesting:
If you loved the smurfs back in the days, and you all thought the Too Faced smurf collection was adorable, but didn't want to shell out the hefty prices for them, take a look at the Sephora sale section because they have a whole bunch of Too Faced smurf stuff on sale!
Ok, $5.00 from $24.00 on a smashbox eyeshadow? Say no more...I want one!
I personally have never tried other Stila products other than their famous Smudge Pot cream eyeliner ($20.00), which is fab by the way! But I always hear so much about how great Stila eye shadows are. And how great they apply-smooth like butta, with great pigmentation.

Nail Of The Day: Color Club "Power Play"
Color Club "Power Play"
Ok, I saw this color in Bed Bath and Beyond for $2.99 and I immedietley thought of this being a great dupe for Essie's Bermuda Shorts nail polish from their neon collection. Yall know I had to have this!
Power Play is a pretty, neon-like purple polish that is very wearable believe it or not. It isn't "too much" for the nails. As for the application, I applied this color in 2 coats, but next time I will do 3 as I believe 3 coats would make this polish extra opaque. The first coat was really sheer, but by the 2nd coat, I started to see the polish's true color.
I am happy this polish did not give me any trouble with application, no streaks, the brush was easy to use, and best of all-no air bubbles. I also love that it dries real fast too.
My only gripe about this polish color is that after it dries on your nails, the finish is not glossy at all-it's sort of like blah. Therefore, a shiny top coat is a must with this polish, or else your nails will look life less. I applied 2 coats of my shiny, clear top coat in order to finalize my nail application.
Here are some pictures of the polish, but I must warn you-these pictures do not do this polish any justice! My camera won't reveal the true color of this polish. But if you all know how Essie's Bermuda Shorts polish color looks like than you all get the idea of how Power Play truly looks like. Enjoy!
